Why we  need you

Words of an advocate

If only there were some way to convince more survivors to come forward and tell their stories, sparing no details no matter how horrifying they are. If they knew there are allies willing to stand with them their strength in numbers may be overwhelming to even the Church’s public relations apparatus.

Shaming the Church through the stories of the survivors and those lost along the way may be the last course available in order to convince large numbers of the rank-and-file otherwise unaffected by the abuse scandal to demand change.

It's Not My Fault Project

What we need for change

"It's not my fault."  That's what we tell victims of abuse to tell themselves over and over.  The only one at fault in abuse is the perpetrator.  The It's Not My Fault Project will focus on Catholic Clergy in the state of Tennessee right now in to try to change the Statutes of Limitations in Tennessee.  The project will also make it clear to the Attorney General, District Attorneys, TBI and FBI that an investigation of the Catholic dioceses of Knoxville, Nashville, and Memphis is needed.

Focus:  The huge numbers of Frank Richards and Edward McKeown's victims make it imperative to get these victim stories now.  Please help us.

How to raise your voice

Telling your story

Click here and email us a short introduction to yourself.  We know that it is often easier to contact us by email, and that will be respected.

If, however, you want to  call us, please do so. We can discuss putting your story on HopeChronicles.org.

When you tell your story, you impact more than you will ever know.  We need you.  Other survivors need you.  Everyone who  hears your story will be encouraged to hold the church accountable for its crimes.  Will you help us?
